The Last Run: Average story of aging gangland driver who has to make one more run for his self image. Incredible photography shot by Sven Nykvist. Cast includes George C. Scott, Tony Musante, Trish Van Devere, and Colleen Dewhurst. (99 minutes,’71)

Paul and Michelle: Why anyone would ever stay friends demands investigation. Too much has gone wrong to every think things could be rectified. This is a story of an incredibly strong friendship. Cast includes Sean Bury, Anicee Alvina, Keir Dullea, Catherine Allegret, and Ronald Lewis. (103 minutes,’74)

The Air I Breathe: Four overlapping, connect the dots story lines, based on a Chinese proverb and titled “Cheerfulness,” “Delight,” “Grief,” and “Love,” make up this mess of a film. Starts out promisingly, as a disgruntled office android Whitaker unintentionally figures out that a horse race has been fixed, then it inexplicably shits into a cartoon like train wreck. Cast includes Kevin Bacon, Julie Delpy, Brendan Fraser, Andy Garcia, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Clark Gregg, Emile Hirsch, Woodland Whitaker, Kelly Hu, Evan Parke, Taylor Nichols, Winner Rivers, and Jon Bernthal. The Tuxedo: Jimmy Tong is the chauffer for hot shot millionaire Clark Devlin. There is one golden rule when working for Mr. Devlin, don’t touch his tuxedo. Jimmy breaks the rule and tries on the tux. It turns out this is no ordinary tuxedo at all.

Another 48 Hours: The team from 48 Hours is back in action. Ex con Reggie Hammond, now freed from prison, is coerced by Detective Jack Gates to help him with another problem. Gates has been hunting an elusive powerful drug dealer. He needs Reggie’s help to catch this guy.

Reckless: Disobedient adolescent from bad side of tracks takes up with a college girl, who finds in him a sense of jeopardy and enthusiasm missing from her peaceful yet boring life. Nothing here we haven’t seen in’50s films in regards to discontented youth, with the exception of some extremely modern day sex scenes. Not for the faint-hearted.
