Hackers: A group of youthful computer specialists is framed for crimes committed by pc whiz and would-be master felon Stevens, and have to use their own computer abilities to demonstrate their innocence. Frozen Assets: Low-octane joke trifle, in which Bernsen is moved to a new bank only to find it’s a sperm bank (get it?). He meets censored biologist Long and after a lot of wisecracks they find that they are drawn to each other. Cast includes Shelley Long, Corbin Bernsen, Larry Miller, Dody Goodman, Matt Clark, Paul Sand, Teri Copley, Gloria Camden, and Gerrit Graham. (96 minutes, 1992)

The Egyptian: A ponderous, often accidentally ludicrous biblical times soap style film with Purdom cast as the tender, truth seeking title personality, set in old Egypt. Darvi’s behavior as a femme fatale is humorously terrible. Cast includes Jean Simmons, Victor Mature, Gene Tiemey, Michael Wilding, Bella Darvi, Peter Ustinov, Edmund Purdom, Judith Evelyn, Henry Daniell, John Carradine, and Tommy Rettig. Southland Tales: An impressive cast is trashed in an over long, overwrought wallow set in 2008 Southern California three years after a catastrophic atomic assault has turned America into a patrol state. Concentrates on a few individuals trying to subsist in this post apocalyptic atmosphere, including a B action film performer, a porn megastar turned Television commentator, and an L.A. patrol officer with a split personality.
