It’s My Fault I want My Wife Back and Stop Divorce
Do you know that 50% percent of first marriages, 67% of second and 74% of third marriages end in divorce? This is a sad fact, but you have to realize that there is still a way to prevent divorce when your marriage is on the rocks.
Humans are just not perfect. We screw up a lot of times in our lives. There is just no manual for life or for a good marriage. These things take a lot of experience and fiddling if you want to really be good at it. But is there really a way for you to stop divorce and get your wife back?
Listen, what you need to do in order for you to stop divorce is to practice humility. They say that patience is a virtue, but I say that humility is an even noble virtue. You really need to swallow your pride, most especially if you are the one who is at fault. There is no other way to get her forgiveness. You really need to say sorry and apologize to her.
An apology consists of two parts. First, you say you are sorry. Second, you need to tell her that you will not make the same mistake again. “I’m really sorry for what I did. I will make it up to you and I will never do it again.” That is the basic apology. Of course, you need to follow up on your promise not to repeat the same mistakes again.
When you are communicating with your spouse, do not cover up your mistakes. Do not argue with her. Listen to her grievances and don’t interrupt. I know this is hard to do – to sit down and be lambasted. There is just no other way. Do not tell her that what you did is just a small thing because for her it is a big deal. Big enough to cause you your marriage.
When you have recurring problems with anger management, drugs, or alcohol, I suggest that you seek professional help before you apologize to her. Through your actions, you can show your wife that you sincerely want to change and mend your ways.
