European Summer Holiday – Sites To See

Enjoy your summer holiday this year by taking a trip to elegant European cities. There are many interesting and different cities to visit. Some cities you should consider are: Paris, London, Venice, Madrid, Frankfurt, and Rome. In each of these magnificent cities there are a number of architectural splendors and ancient sites that are worth seeing. Many airlines have come up with cheap airfare packages for European destinations.

There are many beautiful places to visit and see in Europe, which no traveler should miss. Some of these destinations include: The Roman Coliseum, The Eiffel Tower, The Acropolis, Tower Bridge, La Sagrada Familia, St. Michaeliskirche Church, and Buckingham Palace.

The Roman Coliseum is one can’t miss site to explore while you are in Rome. This grand structure was originally an amphitheater with seating for 50,000. Another famous landmark you should not skip seeing is the Eiffel Tower. While traveling Europe this summer, you should also visit this important historical site, located in Athens. The Acropolis is an ancient ruins that has amazing views of Athens. If you go to London you should not miss to see Tower Bridge. It is located on a river namely Thames and you can view the entire London beautifully from the walkways of the bridge. This is also one of the thrilling experiences when you visit Europe. Visiting La Sagrada Familia is one of the greatest sites when you go to Europe. It is a remarkable church which is located in Barcelona, Spain. Antonio Gaudi, a famous reputed architect designed this church. But before its completing he has passed away. For its astounding architecture and original designs, every one has to see this during summer Europe travel pleasantly.

If you’re able to make your way to Spain, head to Barcelona and see La Sagrada Familia. A church designed by the famous architect, Antoni Gaudi, using new and innovative designs for its time. Antoni died before it’s completion while it was still under construction.In Germany, St. Michaelis Church should certainly be given some of your time. Take in the sights of Hamburg and its time honored traditions.

Traveling through Germany this summer, be sure to visit St. Michaeliskirche Church in Hamburg. From here you will be able to enjoy fantastic views of Hamburg. Last but not least you should try to see Buckingham Palace. This is the royal residence where the Queen of England lives. If you visit in August or September you may have the opportunity to see inside the palace and visit certain rooms.
